HP Photosmart Premium

Back in 2009, the pioneer company HP released the world's first web-connected printer for the home, HP Photosmart Premium with Touch-Smart Web. This printer allows the user to access online digital content directly on the printers, using HP's Touch-Smart technology. The HP Photosmart Premium was primarily designed for those Internet savvy and households with wireless networks, but as of late has found that their technology is easy to understand for pretty much anyone.
 

There are apps already pre-installed on the printer that helps the user alter and customize digital content as they wish. There are apps for checking news and weather, access Google Maps, printing coupons, playing Sudoku, buying movie tickets or finding a new recipe, just to mention a few. In the HP App Studio you can download lots of useful apps, which are increasing in numbers every day, all by the swipe of a finger on the touch-screen.

With touch screens ranging from 2.36 to 7 inches, you can rest assured that you have plenty of room to view your content. You can copy, print, fax or scan with this versatile all-in-one solution. There are 8 models currently on offer in the Photosmart series, ranging from $69.99 to $399.00, however there are lots of rebates available which means you can get up to 50% off.

Current models in the HP Photosmart Premium series are compatible with Apple's AirPrint technology. What this means is that if you have an iPad or iPhone that is connected to the same wireless network as the HP Photosmart you can simply print your digital content from any app that works with AirPrint. In addition to be being Mac compatible, the Photosmart obviously also prints wirelessly from any WiFi PC's and Bluetooth enabled devices.

To help save you money, the HP Photosmart Premium has automatic two-sided printing (this can obviously be disabled). It is ENERGY STAR® qualified due to this feature as well as being shipped in a reusable, yet sturdy bag which is made entirely from recycled plastic.
